On Disc Printing Options
Two choices for printing on the face of your CD. No limited color thermal printing and no paper labels.
Black On Disc.
This is our least expensive on disc printing. Your artwork can be type,
logos, photos, whatever you want as long as it is black. Heavy or solid
black flood coverage may require full color printing.
Color On Disc.
Our most popular option for clients who want full color printing on
their CD but want to keep the cost down. Ultra high resolution UV
inkjet printing that works well with everything. Color photos look
great and the ink is permanent, will not rub off if water gets on your
disc.
Guidelines for burning your original masters: • Use the best quality discs you can find (expensive is better)
• Burn at 1X or the slowest possible speed • Handle your discs with care, no finger prints or scratches • Dust is a major contributor to poor quality discs - keep em clean! • Do not try to clean the disc if it looks dirty, just start over • Send two original masters, not one
When we say this is the price, we mean it! There
are no hidden costs or last minute surprises. Our digital metal plating
process is recognized as the finest quality output available on the
market, bar none! That means no cost associated with film and the dated
analog proofing method that was obsolete a decade ago, yet many
companies are still using this lower quality method to produce your CD
projects! You may also be quoted a low up front price but then charged
$25 per color to print on the disc face. That can add up to $125 to
your project cost. Not at NationWide.
No Setup Fees Many of our competitors advertise a low price only to hit you with a 'one time setup charge' just to handle your project. Not at NationWide. No setup charges, ever!
No Extra Charge for Over Runs We
do not charge for over runs. If we produce more product than you order,
we will give it to you free. (no over run charges means you don't have
to pay for products you don't order.) All orders subject to 10% under
run. You will only be charged for the actual quantities shipped up to
your order amount. Prices do not include shipping. Ask your CSR for
details.
Insured Shipping - Quick Replacement for Projects Damaged while In-Transit Your
project is done when you receive it. At NationWide we take care in
packaging your order so that it won't get damaged in-transit, but
sometimes things go wrong and your project is damaged by the shipping
company and is unusable. This is rare, less than one percent of our
shipped projects, but it does happen. You don't want your project to be
the one that gets damaged and then find out that you have a battle with
the shipping company to be reimbursed for the loss. Let alone the
potential delay in getting your project reproduced and delivered.
If
your project is damaged in shipment you can relax knowing that it is
insured and we will immediately begin the process to replace it. We
will also work with the shipping company to make a claim for the loss.
While we'll need a little help from you, NationWide works through the
process directly with the shipping company, so you don't have to. We
ship your new project as soon as it is ready. No more money is required
from you.
